My name is Gloryess, as a youth, I struggled with Borderline Personality Disorder, depression, and suicidal tendencies. I wasn't born with these problems, they developed as I was growing up due to my family and environmental circumstances.
I was unable to deal with my strong emotions and I struggled to be successful especially as a teen when my hormones kicked in. I was so unhappy as a young adult that I attempted suicide by shooting myself in the abdomen. This left me paralyzed from the waist down. I felt like a boat adrift on the sea, being tossed around by currents and storms with no control over my direction. I was a victim of my fate and destiny.
I have been on a lifelong journey to heal my body, heal my mental state, and develop healthy relationships.

In the past I would sabotage myself whenever I started to find success and happiness, but now I love my life, enjoy my relationships and I am successful at everything I intend to do!
